Lighting procurement: one contact for every light on your project

We become your single point of contact for all lighting purchases: negotiating trade pricing, checking every product before it moves, and delivering to site when each phase is ready. No lost boxes, no wrong finishes, no waiting electricians.

Why procurement matters

Lighting is one of the hardest packages to buy.

A single villa or hotel can involve lights from ten or more manufacturers, each with their own accounts, lead times, payment terms, couriers and paperwork. Products arrive at different times, boxes go missing on busy sites, finishes are wrong, drivers are missing, and the electrician is left waiting.

Lightsource Mallorca takes all of that off your hands. We buy, track, check and deliver the whole lighting package as one coordinated service, so you deal with one company, one schedule and one invoice.

What we handle

Everything between the schedule and the switch-on.

Consolidated ordering

One quotation and one order for products from many manufacturers, with every code, finish and option confirmed.

Trade pricing

We use our relationships with manufacturers and the combined volume of the order to secure strong trade discounts.

Lead time management

We track production and shipping for every line and warn you early if anything is at risk, with alternatives ready.

Checking and clearing

Products are checked on arrival for the right codes, quantities, finishes, colour temperature, drivers and accessories, and any damage is resolved before it reaches site.

Delivery when site is ready

We hold products and deliver them in phases when each area is ready for installation, so nothing sits in a dusty corridor.

Labelled for installation

Deliveries can be grouped and labelled by room, floor or area, matching the lighting schedule, so installers find the right product first time.

Protecting the site

Fewer delays, damages and lost products on site.

Building sites are hard on boxed lighting. Deliveries arrive before there is anywhere secure to store them, cartons are opened to check contents and left behind, and expensive decorative pieces get damaged or disappear.

By keeping products with us until they are needed, and checking everything before it goes out, we cut out most of those problems. When the electrician is ready, the right lights arrive, complete and undamaged.

  • No products waiting on site for weeks before installation.
  • Damage and wrong items found before delivery, not on installation day.
  • Missing components such as drivers, remote gear or accessories caught early.
  • Spare stock and attic stock planned for hotels and rental properties.

Simpler management

One invoice, one schedule, one phone number.

Instead of managing accounts with every supplier, your team works with one company. We keep the procurement schedule up to date, share order confirmations and delivery dates, and handle returns, replacements and warranty claims for you.

  • One account and one point of payment for the whole lighting package.
  • Payments that can be structured around the project’s phases.
  • A live procurement schedule showing every order and its status.
  • After-sales support for replacements, spares and warranty claims.

Island logistics

Procurement that understands Mallorca.

Delivering to Mallorca adds its own challenges, from freight from the mainland to narrow village streets and remote fincas. We plan for them from the start.

Freight to the island

We consolidate shipments from manufacturers across Europe so they travel to Mallorca together, reducing cost and the risk of separate deliveries going astray.

Access to site

Old towns, mountain roads and private estates need the right vehicle and timing. We arrange deliveries that can actually reach you.

Seasonal timing

Projects racing to finish before the summer season need lighting on site on time. We plan orders back from your opening or handover date.

Lighting procurement FAQs

Can you procure lighting that someone else specified?

Yes. We regularly procure from architects’ and designers’ schedules. We check the schedule first and point out anything missing or at risk before ordering.

Will procurement through you cost more than buying direct?

Usually not. Our trade relationships and consolidated orders often bring the price down, and you save the time and risk of managing many suppliers yourself.

Can you store products until the site is ready?

Yes. We can hold products after checking them and deliver in phases when each area is ready for installation. Tell us your programme and we will plan around it.

What happens if something arrives damaged or wrong?

Because we check products before they go to site, most problems are found and resolved with the manufacturer before your installer ever sees them.

Can you combine procurement with value engineering?

Yes. Many projects start with a value engineering review to hit the budget, followed by procurement of the agreed schedule.
